CSS got tired of being sexy

CSS stands for Cansei de Ser Sexy (I Got Tired of Being Sexy in Portuguese) and they are a Brazilian indie rock band categorized as part of the new rave scene. They produce their own songs and rock in remixes. Their latest album Planta was released this summer and I haven’t particularly fallen for it, considering I enjoy much more the remixes they produce.

Let’s start by listing my 2 favorites songs from them though, “Let’s Make Love and Listen to Death from Above” and “Hit’s Me Like A Rock”.

 

Now comes the great stuff: my first best remix would be the cover+remix version of Grizzly Bear (the original version is also cool), played during the movie “The Kids Are All Right“.
